With fall right around the corner it is a great time to start thinking about things you can do to prep your home for the market.

Paint

As inexpensive as paint is, the painting of any space is something that will give it a whole new look at a lower cost. This is something that can really spice up a space that you are struggling to decorate or simply imagine. Calm neutral colors are extremely popular and easy for new homeowners to touch up and picture themselves in.

Knobs

Knobs on all drawers and cabinets may be something small but they sure can make your cabinets feel a bit more modern, rustic, or whatever style you are going for. Another inexpensive cost that can really make a noticeable difference.

Flooring

Usually it is not necessary to replace all the flooring in your home, but if you have a room where the carpet is very worn down or a kitchen floor that is very scratched up, lifting or cracking, it may be worth a small investment to just replace the flooring in that room. Be sure that when you do so it matches the rest of the flooring in the home to the best of its ability. There are so many different types of great flooring options, hardwood, tile, vinyl, laminate and so much more. Of course, some are much more expensive than others so you must base this on your budget and what will be most beneficial for you in the sale of your home.
